  1. David, this is regarding Crystal Enterprise 10 fix packs, no longer available from the SAP Support portal. Have you come across any alternative source of supply for these? I’m specifically looking for a fix pack that contains and references two DLLs: crxf_pdf.dll version 10.0.5.598 and crxf_pdf_res_en.dll version 10.0.5.598. This is to resolve a PDF shrinkage issue. I’ve seen several forum threads that point to editing the registry but only after installing a fix pack. Can you help, please?

    1. I”m sorry Rob. CE10 is has been out of maintenance for a very, very long time now. My only suggestion is to look for old versions of Crystal Reports. crxf_ stands for Crystal Reports export, so it’s possible that these dlls might have been included on releases or fixes of Crystal Reports. It would have to be CR10.

The only link I’m aware of is this: https://websmp130.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/bobj_download/main.htm but it only goes back to XIR2.

  2. Hey David. Not sure if you remember me. I’ve been around in and out of some deployments that you have touched. I don’t travel much any more but i do remote BI support for various partners including traning, demo, and prototyping BOE lab support. I have partnered with a company called WFTCLOUD. They are one of the very first companies licensed to provide Dedicated and Shared SAP BW services over the cloud. We have tested connectivity from my ALC Amazon based lab instances using SAP GUI and BOE Designer. We have also prototyped the ability to provide multi –N tiered client nodes (ability to have many Xcelsius and SAP GU clients) working with BOE. As you may have realized trying to deploy or proto something like this, this is a very hard capability to deploy training or demo wise due to the limitations of Terminal Services licenses and MS Xcel group CALs cost. We solved it.
